Heh, I've noticed a very weird thing. On 3 systems that have been upgraded either via today's iso or previous esd, when restarting or shutting down they get a static screen only with "restarting" etc, while on another PC there's the same "restarting" word but it has also the dots circling around as before. I thought it was gone, but that system still showing it surprised me. I've also installed the iso (Pro) on a fresh VM and it'll also show.
I am going to hold off on installing the W10 Ann update for a couple of months. I used dobbelina’s advise on “You can set it to Notify for download and notify for install with gpedit.msc” to disable it auto installing on the Main Rig, I may let it update on one of the test rigs though.
Installed 14393 Enterprise From 10240 LTSB (upgrade). went from 16gb of usable ram to 2gb of usable ram. Gladly want a solution for it! solution was going back to ltsb!
Stupid me, just found what's going on. It's related to turning off windows animations as I've set it on Accessibility settings, it'll apply it also when ending the session (restart, shutdown) where (in the accounts) it's set as disabled. Previous versions of windows wouldn't do it.
my buddy just call me after he got from work...turn on hes comp and try to update and told me theirs nothing for consumers in WU hes still on 10586....did MS release to the public today or what?
No... MS didnt release it to the public... We have all isos and all the stuff but they didn't release nothing... (irony)
I remember few days ago something was mentioned in the news about that not all the languages will be available in August 2 through Windows Update, so maybe is that... anyway the ISOs are already available.

ok update he click on update history and it took him to the MS site and gave him the Windows Update Assistant and now hes D\L so if your not picking up on WU just click update history link and u will pick it up.
