Did any of you see whether the same error messages the user in the link got were present in your OS?

sucks that they still haven't fixed the typing bug.

i.e. can't type in;

edge address bar
store search
cortana search

none of those respond to keystrokes

had to rollback to 1511 to be working fine again. seen several users report it on the feedback hub but so far it's not been fixed and i installed all the 1607 hotfixes..

 

I can't, but just because they are eradicated from my ISOs

 

so which update fixes the bug?

 

So RS1 has a lot of bugs.

My way is, remove cortana, remove search2, use Classic shell to access the standard search functionality (and to get rid of the ugly stock start menu)

 

Right because there are bugs are unique to specific LP.

 

Cortana, and the Beautiful Start menu are wonders of software development. They are both marvelous creations. Why would you even THINK about removing them? It just doesn't make sense.

I am just stating facts. It is not junk. The start menu is a work of art, and Cortana is wonderful. They are just two of the reasons that Windows 10 is so awesome. If you don't like them that is a problem you have, and not me. The Modern apps are also great, and I have separate monitors to keep many up and running at all times. If you don't appreciate beauty in this world, that is a shame.

 

So you keep telling us over and over. But you don't seem to appreciate that those of us who dislike all that junk are equally entitled to post our opinion of that tripe! Quite how you can describe the hideous monstrosity of a start menu as a work of art beggars belief. Anyway, better things to do than get dragged into this again, carry on...

Because I actually live in the real world, and embrace new developments. That is why. You are perfectly entitled to believe what you wish, but in the long run, because I embrace change, and love where MS is going with Windows, I will be the happier person. Windows 10 is a work of art. Period.
