No, you have to do it manually. They also get downloaded during an upgrade, when the checkbox "download updates" is checked.
Ok. And thanks! I usually have two copies of the .isos. One on another system hard drive and one on a backup drive. So I'll probably update the ones on the system drive and keep the originals on the backup drive.
Are there any other files in the .isos that have to be replaced except the apparent ones before this one that replaced the same files, i.e., KB3190465, KB3176933, etc?
The latest one should update all files from the former ones. You could compare the files in the cabs to be sure.
I meant anything other, i.e., separate files in the .iso besides these four files, like from different updates.
Sorry, not 100% sure you understood. There's nothing in a current .iso that's different than the original besides those four files?
DISM integratable updates don't add anything to the iso itself. The only files to update the iso itself are the Dynamic Updates (SetupUpdate) files. Edit: Yes and the updated wim files off course.
Thanks will try that soon. I was waiting with you guys for rs1 release but i don't know for sure if i downloaded the non preview. Is there any way to check? Prob I'm having is thw latest updates make "windows task host" or something like that crash during start up and the nb is too slow to use when it happens. I restored an image and tried the update again with the same result. I notice it installed 317 and 319 and a bunch of office updates. So i guess only solution is to fresh install and integrate and hope for the best.
Hello all, I just want to ask, is the latest cumulative updates contain earlier updates in it ? Suppose I was in build 14393.0, can I directly upgrade it manually to build 14393.222 ? So what about the updates that I skip ? Whether it will be downloaded again by windows update ? Thanks for the response
Them being cumulative updates (CU), yes, you can skip previous CU's but not the Servicing Stack, that one is also needed (flash update for msie is optional).
So Win 10 English x64 Pro N is only in VL form? I don't mind but I prefer retail, however, the only source I found for it is the magnet url here: #post1256387 But it's not working. I don't care which english, but I prefer international english. I just want to get x64 Pro N, I won't use any other editions ever.
Try "MKUBA50 ALL MSDN Direct DownloadLinks [ISO]" and download directly from "MS Windows 10 N (Redstone 1) [ID: 245]" in English International. That's the Retail ISO with both Home and Pro.
