    take it there is no 14393 iso but have to install the July 2016 iso then do windows update?

    The MCT downloads these esd files: <FileName>14393.0.161119-1705.rs1_refresh_CLIENTCombinedSL_RET_x64fre_ar-sa.esd</FileName>

    It's 14393.447. Only when you do a direct upgrade using the MCT it will download the current updates and bump up the build nr, afaik.

    So is it best to install redstone iso or from microsoft tool if wanitng 'latest'?

    been trying to update a desktop for 3 days now....it just sits their checking for updates:mad:
