There is Windows 10 2021 LTSC and Windows Server 2022, so, no point of using bloated Windows 10/11 22H2

    Hi,
When I try to integrate this update to a base .1607 Home Single Language image with W10UI, I get this error

    Code:
Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool
    Version: 10.0.14393.0

    Image Version: 10.0.14393.0

    Error: 0x800f081e

The specified package is not applicable to this image.

The DISM log file can be found at C:\Windows\Logs\DISM\DismESU.log
I attached detailed progress and DismESU log also.
I'll be very pleased if anyone could help, thanks in advance.

Only the LTSC SKU is still supported, CSL is not.

Then I have to integrate KB4103723 instead of KB5025228, right?

I would start using a supported build, not a good idea to keep using old unsupported builds.

You are right but it's an old machine and will be used for non-security concerning tasks. that's why I use that build.
Thank you for your contributions Enthousiast der Meister.

Switch to LTSC. It's not heavier on resources and still supported.

I'm aware of LTSC and am running it on my main machine. But CSL machine has it's own tasks. And if configured in the right way CSL is way lighter than LTSC.

but hey let's be honest, you're nitpicking a particular part of my clause which includes ".... if configured in the right way". I chop all the bloat I don't need. No uwp crap, store and all the enterprise related services etc which I don't use. So in the end it's lighter than LTSB/C. And the interesting part is I learned all these settings/configurations etc from your guides, explanations and so on Enthousiast and other masters. Thank you once again all the things you've taught.

I will leave you with that, not going to invest the energy in the xxxxxxxth "best" configured OS since win 10 arrived.

Ok, but I don't claim it's the best, I'm telling it's better than LTSC according to my needs. There's a difference.
