How to create updated installation image for LTSB 2016 N? I tried with @abbodi1406 W10UI and also @MSMG . Updates from WHDownloader, they seem to install fine on offline image, but after actually booting the setup can't find license files, it's error shown right after selecting language, before partitioning options. Regular LTSB 2016 works fine.

I applied the install wim for LTSB 1607 rtm and wanted to update it online for April, but the SSU for April wouldn't install. The component store and sc /noverify came up clean. The error indicates a referenced assembly is not installed. I have no idea what is missing. WU does the update of 14393.0 in two steps (at lest that was the case the last time I checked) First goes to to 14393.2273, then after a reboot installs the LCU. I assume it does that for a reason.

I ended up doing 2 things to fix my install issue. Although the SC scan and component store checks indicated everything was ok, I ran the commands below after restoring to my original starting point and starting W10UI. Code: Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth I also set W10UI to use the root dism of the system instead of the one from the W10 ADK (Version: 10.0.19041.1) After that, everything updated fine. It's not very satisfying resolving something and not knowing the actual cause of the problem.
