Where are you getting this from? Dona hasn't said anything about any updates coming, and she's the one who controls releasing updates to insiders etc...
From a friend who fervently follows the Insider every time with positive prediction. Receiving the upgrade soon as in after a short time, at least, within a week time or thereabout. He didn't mentioned anything about the particular time though.
Not trying to sound offensive here, but only yesterday you called it speculative and wrong to refer to this build as RTM. I'd be at least as cautious about this very much speculative update talk.
I never said it is wrong to call it RTM but based on information available it is not going to be treated as RTM for the fact that Windows 10 is more of a service than manufactured product and people shouldn't claim it is. I think there is a nuance there. I don't see how that relates to my post though.
The way it relates to your post is this: If you didn't believe the many credible sources calling this RTM (which it is, actually), why would you believe the rumors about an update which none of those credible sources are corroborating?
RTM means "Release To Manufacturers", but that also translates as "final build that consumers are getting"(1). Windows might have changed into more of a service, but people want to call the final build with a name(2) - in our case RTM. So, with basic maths, from (1) & (2) ===> 14393=RTM. We won't invent a new name for the final build. The final builds will keep getting called as RTM, and people like you that claim "this is not RTM/don't call it that etc" are getting on our nerves. We don't treat it as RTM, we treat it as a final build that consumers will be getting. Your way of thinking is complex.
