Jesus christ you guys are still going on about this? And LOL WZOR, Partners and OEM's already have the final bits for about a week now, 14393 is it, and if you don't believe me let me just leave this here: Don't PM me asking for it, answer is no, but this should be sufficient proof for you guys, and before you go OMG .3!!!!!!1111111oneoneoneone It's called I installed the hotfix. *mic drop*
why no one leak the ltsb ? if OEM have all the ISOs cos its RTM why no one leaking, we still stuck with small editions count as before when RTM released it mostly get leak
Yeah right... in before "no announcement yet", "still Insider preview", "release build will be different", "14400", "never finished", "Windows as a service", etc. RTM ignorance as a serviceā¢, now available to all Windows Insiders!
Is it safe to update a computer from Windows 7 to 14393 directly (with a non-insider account as well)? As in, will it create a valid Digital License? I'd like to upgrade this one laptop I have directly without going to 10586 first.
Yes, it's safe and will give you digital entitlement activation, just be aware the free upgrades end in 5 days, after that new upgrade installs will no longer activate, you'll need to buy a key.
It might go on top of Windows 7, but I have had no luck putting in over 10586 Everytime I try to mount ISO, system crashes
Haven't done it by using an ISO but most of my published dutch esd's are from upgrading 10586 by WU to 14393
Right, that's what I meant. So if I upgrade Windows 7 using the 14393 ESD and it will get a valid Windows 10 entitlement without upgrading to 10586 first?
What are you waiting for to leak exactly? If you have 14393 you already have the final bits for the Anniversary Update.
I'm having problems, too. I tried to put in on my 10586.494 (the latest) without luck. I tried it twice and it hangs up on a screen saying that things are getting 'ready.' Eventually I had no choice but to reset and then the desktop just keeps going in and out (had to restore my image). I tried it on a drive I had 7 on and that went ok. This is really disappointing because I've spent endless hours with my configuration, and re-creating all that would be a humongous task. My current install was upgraded from 7 to 10240 and then again to 10586 without any real problems--really don't know what to do to get it to 14393.
Is the real 'final' going to make a difference? Not very optimistic that the upgrade will go on without problems given all the problems I've had so far. Don't really understand--I've kept everything in pristine condition running chkdsk/f, dism and sfc/scannow.
Yup, he's on MINT, hates Windows 10, and rants and raves all the time, I don't even know why they let him in the Win 10 forums, he just bitches all the time, he's a fruitcake, lol
