I haven't officially weighed in on it yet, but yes this definitely is RTM build. There's just overwhelming evidence at this point and not much preventing it from being RTM. If they found an extreme flaw that wasn't able to be addressed in an update, I could see them doing another build, but they haven't. They've released it to slow ring. There's only 8 days left till Aug 2. They've been issuing patches for minor issues. It's the RTM. Debate over. Go on with your lives.
I would keep the monitor on. In my case, three. I use internet, too. But I would definitely keep the monitor plugged in, and connected. But hey, it's you and your computer. Whatever floats your boat.
Are you going to stay like this forever? We know that you hate Windows 10. Please, if you hate it, go ahead as I said two days ago and yesterday and install other OS. We're tired!
That is because its the only version that is in the (L)ong (T)erm (S)ervice (B)ranch, it isn't supposed to get updated "regularly" except for security matters. Even those and stability fixes can be rejected (and are for many using LTSB). It's soul purpose is for mission critical systems who cannot and will not afford patches and updates to cause a world war because of a glitch in their OS (as an example lol). The system is rock solid for its intended uses, and that is where it should stay. and now its time for boobies (o)(o)
I mean "Windows 10 Enterprise S" which will be released on August 2, not LTSB 2015. There's actually a leaked E S build but it has a timebomb though :/
Clearly the LTSB 2015 wouldn't be forcefully updated to anything. But that won't exclude a 2016 version. The LTSB has 5+5 years of support. If I install it today I would have 4+5 years of support, If I install it in 2020 I wold have 0 years of support. Then seem pretty obvious that they have to release a new ISO each one or two years, just like happen on Ubuntu LTS they are apeing.
Must be, cos we all depend on your posts to keep us informed of the correct build/release information.
