Only Pro-for-education doesn't get the update, all others will. Tonorrow most likely will the ZDP be released.
kb3176927 is already public (also for non insiders) and most likely tomorrow there will be a ZDP released (Zero Day Patch)

I did exactly what you put in spoiler to VOLUME ISO for v1607. EULA changed at startup but did not ask any key and its still VOLUME when installed. Am I missed something?
You're right, but it's because the thread grows too quickly and the useful posts get buried. I literally enjoyed my weekend getting drunk, checked in the day before rtm and grabbed my iso's as expected. Forgive me if i perused only 10% of a 1900 post thread I mean that in a nice way, the reality of it was amusing to me.
If you need it retail just change the key with slmgr /ipk xxxx where xxxx is your retail key or the generic one for the digital entitlement
Enterprise is the only one who gets released on both MSDN and VLSC. MSDN doesn't offer Pro, it offers the Multiple Editions
True. For years, I only use Enterprise, because Pro lacks much security features such as the AppLocker feature. If you are going to use KMS solutions, there is no difference for Enterprise or pro. Granted, I have a MAK for Enterprise from my work place.
Oddly, it hung after first reboot, asking to press any key to continue, and failure to press a key just froze it there. Next time, I pressed a key, and it made me take my disk out. That doesn't sound normal, does it...??(yes, I know, anything's possible with microturd)
Maybe it's you hardware what is dodgy or at least the combination? No problems overhere, upgrades and clean installs from boot
Yes, but from the multiple-version one you can get Pro, which is where the confusion can come in since that's not obvious at all at a glance. Whereas someone looking at the VLSC list seeing "Pro" could very easily think that's the Pro that's right for them, when it probably isn't (anyone using VL, at least around here, and not using the Ent version probably has a screw loose).
