Did a testinstall with Pro VL and it doesn't get the CU offered which brings it up to 14393.5? It should be.
Do it using cmd once Windows is installed, but not necessarily when Windows starts up for the first time.
Used My Homebuilt ISO to do two upgrades today from Build 10586. First one got the CU and is at 14393.5 while Bat never could get the second to update and it's still 14393.0
I have seen it downloading and installing online here but that was with the earlier released esd based releases.
As I said many pages ago (wow this is moving fast), I did a 10586->14393 upgrade earlier today and it came up already on 14393.5. That machine was NOT on Insider. Peculiar! Seems upgrades are getting the CU but clean installs are not.
Can anyone check if dxdiag show WDDM as 2.1 version, I am interested for NV 1070 GPU, but all should be like that?
shame, some insider reported that at least with NV it will be WDDM 2.1 because he tested it and it sorted some issue with TLB memory cuda paging size on 10xx GPU series... his build he had was never public so we had only his words
The support is highly depended on the kind of processor your system is using. From Hashwel upward WDDM2.0 or 2.1 is supported in windows 10.
I have haswell but so far there were none NV drivers for 1070 GPU with WDDM 2.1 support on 1511 WIN 10, I am ineterested in ethereum mining software which atm does not work as it should on win10 and 10xx, only on linux with a lot truble
