You linked to an article containing info based on hearsay (from my informants i heard it will be a... again...). I didn't say it was your article nowhere.
The problem is that both the defrag schedule and the daily maintenance schedule will try to fully defrag the ssd because it's still marked as "never run", instead of just repeating the short optimize (trim). It's normal behavior for W10 to do an occasional full defrag on a ssd when volume shadow copies are enabled, but not all the time. I've tested by manually launching those tasks after a reboot, and it always got them to start a full defrag on the ssd instead of a quick re-trim*, so the only option was to unselect the drives from the schedule for them to be skipped. After reverting to 1909, none of this happened anymore. * the same wouldn't happen if I manually optimized via defrag gui (setting a last run date) prior to running those tasks, just like the usual behavior on previous w10 versions
Oh really? And again, you think that your written phrase 'You article link' is a proper & correct phrase to describe whatever you said or wanted to say. IMO You should learn properly how to write.
You're not worth my time, effort nor energy, you never get any point and i'll leave this utter redundant nonsense discussion, good luck. Is this written correctly?
Will I lose my HWID if i change from a sata 2.5 ssd to a m2 nvme? i remember switching old desktops from 3.5'' HDD to 2.5'' ssd and losing the license on them
I performed an "Upgrade" from build 1909 to 2004, very smooth, flawless upgrade. All apps work perfectly. Very informative thread. CU release too was ok. Make sure to run disc clean up to remove previous windows backup that stores 20Gb+ on your drive.
Before talking about 19042, it would be nice if 19041 were out and working without a hitch. I'm really not enjoying this build.
Only motherboard replacement will change your HWID. Netcard/MAC change will only affect flexlm/rlm based licensed softwares (easy to cheat & keep old MACs using TAP drivers... ) You can replace HDDs w/o any problem keeping your current HWID.
Actually once my onboard lan on an old test system went kaput, and i replaced it with a pci lan controller, hwid was foetsie
