Haven't seen anything wrong with UUP->ISO conversion scripts, what you hit is more likely a very old oobe bug that throws you to a desktop logged on as System. It usually goes away after a cold restart. Other times it causes a boot loop or a blank screen on boot and requires a repair. I have hit this bug regardless of the media origin (MSDN / MCT / UUPdump).
If you search back in this topic for all my posts, you will see I struggled with this issue for months (I tried and reported on almost every singe CU which was released for this build since .21), then now it "magically" worked for the very first time I tried the official ISO. Of course it could be random coincidence but it's a bit strange.
guys, in this new edition cortana is an app instead of part of the taskbar. is it safe to completely remove it using ntlite or this still can cause problems?
No, it was some other issue. Anyway, I'm comfortable with UUP->ISO builds for my personal projects only.
Added sha-1 checksums for the 2004 Techbench dump ISOs: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...c-20h1-vb_release.80763/page-133#post-1598250
All of us know that 19H2 was mess. Most of the updates there can be in one or two Insider Preview build, like 19628, 19631 for example.
19H2 only was a mess for people who didn't read for all others it was an easy to achieve fake feature update.
Is there a static link to WindowsUpdateBox at download.microsoft.com for 19041, like there was for previous releases?
Not offered yet or really excluded? On some systems (running 18363.836) i got the 2004 Feature update offered and on fresh installs in vmware, i didn't get them offered, yet.
