Is there a way to dump all of the Features on Demand (WindowsCapability) to a local folder without downloading the ISO via PowerShell? If not, where can I find ISO to download with? Thank you.
....with the application for 20h2 the registration had to be corrected for winver to show 331, in the next update CU will it be necessary to change the registration too? this will always make me boring!......
You're right only SHA-1 for SVF are indicated no links to them. Wait for LostED to correct this. BTW links to ISO download need an access password which is : Spoiler: Pass Code: MDL
I'm curious of where to find these files: 718fcfe62bcae8cd2ee824a010d3edd38067419a *en_windows_10_features_on_demand_part_1_version_2004_x64_dvd_7669fc91.iso b839b622ed7b8939112266065c5689d163b6c951 *en_windows_10_features_on_demand_part_1_version_2004_x86_dvd_ae6dc6f7.iso fd7be3bbac77f7ae72c9d078663a1a4bc837f21f *en_windows_10_features_on_demand_part_2_version_2004_x64_dvd_fa276e78.iso d71c589359effa2f274159ff6ec77c6bad30af6b *en_windows_10_features_on_demand_part_2_version_2004_x86_dvd_ddf557cb.iso As I constantly seen those post up but don't have any reference download link available...
"windows 10.0 -kb 4562830 -x 64 .cab" of "19042 Enablement Package" installs Microsoft Edge. Can I change it so that Microsoft Edge is not installed?
I clean installed Windows 10 (en_windows_10_consumer_editions_version_2004_updated_may_2020_x64_dvd_36d61c40.iso SHA1 Hash: 71A288FEBD984839B575EFB3BD9BC9AB7471B604 Released on 21 May 2020), but during the format Windows auto-created the "System reserved" partition with only 50MB!!! Isn't system reserved partition on Windows 10 usually is 350MB, what is the problem please?
MSR is usually small. It's size may depend on the size of the disk it's created on. But you can usually delete it altogether (and by usually I mean I don't know about a single practical use case where it's actually used in any way), so I wouldn't worry about it's size as long as it's relatively small (I personally go without it).
How come it is not important?! What if I used BitLocker. I have no Disk size limitations (300GB HDD), and I think it is really weird that Windows allocate this small size (50MB) to the system reserved partition. I never seen/came across a situation like this before (always 350 or 500 MB on Windows 8 through Windows 10). Any thought about the reason and implications of this please?
this is only on BIOS install mode (not UEFI), reason: microchof programmed obsolescence, Implications: you cant't make windows 7 image backup... saludos
