Defrag bug is not fixed in 19041.421. Can't speak for 19042.

Cosmedic, it still functions correctly from what I have heard.

IKTR, but even a cosmetic (not cosmedic) glitch needs to be patched which they didn't for the last several months.

If you're on 19041 and fully updated to .421, you'll also need the enablement package to get to 19042 and get the updated start menu.

because that's the feature of 20H2 (19042.X), so unless you're on that branch (Via EP or installing fresh from IP 20H2 ISO), that change ain't gonna reflect.

The new "About" page is actually pretty cool. The 'copy' options will make make family IT stuff easier.

defrag bug still present & not fixed in 20H2 (19042) either.

defrag.exe, dfrgui.exe & defragsvc.dll files (from Windows\System32 folder) are still 19041.84 and need to have newer versions sometime in future 20Hx CUs

not unless MS updates most of the Defrag EXE & DLL files that I mentioned

Many thx, but nope, still Enterprise and no activation lol. Activated 2 days ago on Pro, so you would think it's OK? Key discarded, as I didn't need it no longer. Maybe try another image?, although, I was sure Win10 was clever enough to know what version activated?, due to hardware etc. I did use key to upgrade from 'home', as this was what was installed on laptop when I got it. Where does Enterprise come from?, it's a Pro image lol???

Gonna try MCT 2004, will report back if that works :)

It constantly shows drives needing optimised, regardless of whether you have done it manually, or auto, but having it set to do so on auto, could mean it's trimming on a whim, so to speak ;) I personally have it disabled, as I like to trim on a whim, manually :D

Regardless, this bug has been around for a while, and MS have no intention of fixing it, ever!

Candy Crush is more important than anything ;)

Listen. In all the telemetry and feedback that Windows 10 gathers, from the weak and unwary, and they can't get a simple bug like this fixed?, well, what is the point in it all? Really? Think about that one ;)
