    My .1 install which received the .21 CU from WU broke down yesterday. I restored the last backup (fulll disk image) and that couldn't boot either, so I restored the n-1 state and it boots yet again (n-1 was also .21 already), I tried rebooting it a few times (for example, after installing the 450.12 nV driver [again] and then shutdown for the night...).

    Any way to recover from the failed boot by going into safe mode and uninstalling the .21 CU?

    not rtm yet on fresh install anyone notice this doesn't install using uefi mode kinda weird it will be uefi after install completes?

    It's caused by missing original 19041.1 cat files in Windows\System32\CatRoot\{F750E6C3-38EE-11D1-85E5-00C04FC295EE}.

    Remember: (For working DVD\USB setup), boot.wim, winre.wim, and install.wim

    It's not just another service pack. A lot of changes happen beyond the UI.
