You only get the option if you have a Gsync/Compatible monitor, and the Freesync/Gsync function is activated inside the monitor OSD. Obviously you cannot enable it on monitors without any VRR or is the VRR is turned off by the monitor. Since you said you have a 1060, Pascal cards definitely have it. You also need a Display Port connection for Gsync Compatible I believe, a driver that supports it etc. Just look it up, the requirements are there on the web.
Been an early adopter of gaming tech since my first Japanese Super Famicom. Paid £700 for a 3D0, £900 for an imported PS1 when they weren't out in the UK, etc, etc, so I'm a big enough boy with the expendable income (and a very understanding wife!) to both accept the early adopter tax and afford it comfortably. I would have bought a RTX3090 but my pre-orders are in for a Xbox Series X and a PS5 to go with my LG C9 so don't fret too much for me. Finding the time to get my moneys worth is the enemy, not the cost. My son, lucky sod, is in 7th heaven though. Apologies for the thread derail!
I'm having ' problems ' with 19041/2 ...... sometimes when i try to turn it off it restarts . Sometimes one time and sometimes two or more times .....,... to the point where i sometimes pull the plug Also a problem with searching . I use a split screen . On the one side i'm doing my things and on the other side a search . When i go out of the search , go into a folder and do my things there its O . K . ......... but when i send that side to the taskbar ........ the search starts again ........ over and over again . AND ......... its got computer AIDS ......... = edge , excel , office , powerpoint , word in my list of installed programs ........ and whatever i've tried so far i cant get rid of them without f**kling the system up . Over and over again
so people are getting that VRR option in 20h1/H2, & it's only a freesync/g-sync monitor in my case that I don't have so not seeing that VRR option in 20H2 Win10? Right? All others are in checklist i.e. GPU, Latest GRD & 19h1 & up Win10.
Hello, I search the iso file : mu_windows_10_language_pack_version_2004_x86_arm64_x64_dvd_7729a9da.iso do you have a download link ? Thanks
I have been reading all posts about windows 10 19041.508 ssd not being optimized after install. Should I update to 19042.508?
Okay, I downloaded Win10_2004_EnglishInternational_x64 iso and want to perform clean install via usb, but wintoflash gives me error that install.wim is to big,and rufus is useless also. How can I make bootable usb?
Who Says Rufus is Useless. You Must be Having Disk Drive Partition as FAT32 Format . Just Format it to NTFS & then See What Rufus Can do. or USE Ventoy
He just has to split the wim into 2 swm (split wim) files or compress the install.wim to install.esd and most tools, or simply FAT32 (for uefi & legacy bios) formatted USB will work fine, or just format the USB ntfs for legacy boot only.
Is/was there a howto here on mdl on how to exit s mode without creating/using an ms account? Either that or my memory has begun to fail me
