its yours choice afterall you have to use it but what i suggest is dont use home edition . you can go with @BAU suggestion. he is a senior coder n has vast knowledge plus experience then me . EDIT - there are many tweakers to debloat iso offline. MSMG Toolkit is one of the best i can suggest.
finally i got ltsc 2019 with conversion tools and added desired language now wats best way to update it offline online to latest after activation
You can start by asking in the windows 10 build 17763 thread or the dedicated LTSC 2019 thread. Second, it's your choice how to update it(online/offline). It's not like online updating magically optimizes the installation vs offline integration or some voodoo s**t like that.
Yes I saw that but the build number is higher 19041.601 vs 19041.572 not sure that the an edge update would warrant a build number change so soon after patch Tuesday.
Is it normal that Windows Sandbox guest version differ from host? Spoiler I have enabled Windows Sandbox ONLY after installing 20H2 enablement package.
Since 19042 is actually 19041 with a patch, this is probably one of those glitches where the Sandbox is simply displaying the underlying version, not the one the patch tells the system to think it's running.
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but if I install 20H2 right now (with an iso made from uupdump), it's the same as if I enabled the 20H2 features on a normal, stable 20H1 install? I'm asking this because I need to reformat anyways and might as well install the upcoming version. On another note, I've been using the Win10 Enterprise (not LTSB or LTSC) for years now, because I like that it doesn't download useless apps from the store automatically, among other things like setting Telemetry to [Security]. But I've also heard that Enterprise don't get Feature updates. Is that true? if so, should I switch to Pro?
Of course the ISO with the 20H2 EP integrated will be the same if it either came from MSFT as an ISO or UUP file set or an ESD. But why not just reinstall with 19041.xxx and when the 20H2 EP goes public and then let WU install it, or install it manually. I don't know where you got that information from, only Enterprise LTSB/C don't get feature updates as intended.
Is there any readymade script (.bat) available for 'mach2' to enable the windows settings header panel?
