Just letting you & everyone else who've experienced & reported/discussed here earlier, that issue is fixed now by today's update via MS Store UWP version 2.2043.22.0
ok this morning I researched inside the intricacies of M$FT and found some solutions but I have been very busy all day so far solving other important problems ($$$) and I have now arrived in my basement this way I must install 2 updates that they asked for I did and then I will try to reinstall this s**t and see what happens ...
haha I correctly followed the instructions of the engineers at M$FT(still investigating) but as i said the other day i think they are going crazy this is not possible !! just look at the images
Would've been nice if you could specify or even screenshot said errors. That "crap" is no less legitimate than msft's MediaCreationTool. My short experience says it's more likely a user error.
All the work is done by the official MCT, and all works as expected: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...-versions-1507-20h2.78054/page-6#post-1628215
I am completely cognizant of your original request for an ISO. AFAIK, the ESD download links provide Official releases from a high-bandwidth MSFT server. It doesn't get any better than that. They are not links to crap releases from illegal torrents. If you are genuinely having trouble with decryption errors and corrupt files then it's probably trouble from you system or user error.
I posted the error screenshot and details in the thread of ESD repository days ago https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-10-esd-repository.59082/page-149#post-1627660 I had two options either re-download the esd and try again but this would be total waste of time either download the official iso ready and set i didn't have doubt that the esd that i downloaded is corrupt becuz i can see the contents via 7-zip also it's not a problem of using windows 7 as i concluded so that's left me with only one option that i went with at the end anyways it's all okay but i will never bother with those ESD files and converting method again it's first and last time for me it is not worth the hassle thank you
and i'm talking about ESD store files those are not worth the work with but for install.esd i'm used to work with that and switch between install.wim and install.esd and vice versa all the time never had any problem
Here i showed you it worked on Win 7: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-10-esd-repository.59082/page-149#post-1627664 It was corrupt, the checksums you posted here: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-10-esd-repository.59082/page-149#post-1627694 Should have been these: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-10-esd-repository.59082/page-149#post-1627696
yep the hashes didn't match but i didn't get any errors from the download manager i got 100% downloaded fine like any other download i do usually since i will have to do download again why bother with esd i just went with iso and they are fine and matched
If the hashes didn't match, the download was not correct and corrupted whatever your downloadmanager says. Corrupt downloads can finish downloading 100% too. There is no 19042.572 ISO released, so it will be homebrew if the ISO is 19042.572. Only 19042.508 ISOs are released and not with the file name you show.
i get that, of course they are corrupt the hashes didn't match, that's what hashes are for yes they are 19042.508 ISOs i don't like long names so i renamed them to 20H2_***.iso i will integrate latest cu and ssu updates with thank you
Corrupted large files seems the norm rather than exception in some parts of the world with bad infrastructure / gov. hijack . Or using cracked versions of download managers, that feature a sneaky annoyance of randomly corrupting files. This is one situation where using MCT can be better than manually getting the esd via browser / download managers: unstable connection. As long as you don't lose line power / laptop battery, MCT will keep at it for days, even if you get completely disconnected and reconnect sporadically. You also won't get temp banned by the microsoft servers if something goes wrong with your browser/downloader requests.
