Updated the 20H1/2 Updates Overview with the WSUS links by @abbodi1406 https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...-20h1-2-vb_release.80763/page-16#post-1571109 ps, the latest defender offline update cab (Nov. 5. 2020) already seems outdated at the antimalware platform update, new version on WU is 4.18.2010.7.
You have previous answers in this thread. To reiterate: If you use the procedure I provided, the ISOs that you get from the MSFT Windows 10 ISO download webpage are 19042.508 regardless of language or whether they are 32-Bit or 64-Bit. The Hashes in the MSFT hash table are SHA256 and you must pick the right hash based on your language and architecture. You can calculate the hash using powershell or a 3rd party hash calculator (e.g. HashCalc). Regardless of whether you use technet, the heidoc.net iso downloader, or the procedure I provided, you will get an ISO that is named like this: Win10_20H2_<Language>_x<Architecture>.iso ESDs that are converted to ISOs render 19042.572. These ESDs are a service-refresh aimed toward IT professionals. EDIT: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-10-esd-repository.59082/#post-992532
To clarify, I was referring to the ESDs posted in the lastest MDL repository here: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-10-esd-repository.59082/#post-992532
So are you saying that when MCT downloads something from the MSFT server, it's an ESD that is eventually converted and leaves a 19042.572 ISO on my machine as of this moment? Because my procedure results in an ISO, not an ESD, and the latest one I downloaded was 19042.508 ISO not a final ESD but a final ISO.
That is a many years old "hack" (used by techbench dump and improved to fetch all available ISOs of any techbench released build) to get the page to offer only the current techbench ISOs, those are currently 19042.508, the current MCT will create the 19042.572 ISOs. Two totally unrelated things. And the techbench ISO = MVS consumer ISO contains all consumer SKUs, the MCT created ISO will have less SKUs (it lacks Pro-Education and Pro-Workstation and their N editions (if available in your language))
Well I'm sure this hack was around when dinosaurs roamed the earth. Things were a lot simpler then. Everything we do now is just so much more sophisticated. There's no need to lose any sleep over what version the final ISO is because there's always another LCU just around the corner. Oh wait, did I just hear the mailman. I think he's delivered another LCU. I'd better go check my mailbox!
how can I choose other regional format than English in 20H2? In 20H1 and all previous builds it was possible select a different regional format, even though the en-us version was installed. Now I only have English to choose.
On top/right choose additional date, time and regional settings, then choose region and from there choose the format you want
lol! it works haha, so... they have added the regional format to the new "settings", but the functionality is different from the one in the old control panel...
