I seem not to get .899 I'm still on .868 and there are no updates in WU is there a cab I can install to go to this version?
Hello, i've a very strange problem on VL Pro 19042.867: the check to remove the single items of recent searches in the explorer quick search box (top right) doesn't appear. After some test i found that this strange issue appears only on vl version, not on consumer's one: tried some minute ago with two clear vm, "Retail Pro" vs "VL Pro" (both with latest updates + untouched original iso both with correct SHA256 checksum). Any help? Thanks
All info can be found inside the Updates Overview post. This: Code: Windows10.0-KB5000736-x64_21H1_EP_844.cab [Enablement] windows10.0-kb5000842-x64_LCU_Beta_899.1.8.cab [LCU] Windows10.0-KB5000981-x64.cab [SSU] = ssu-19041.897-x64.cab is literally taken (copy/paste) from info i provided: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-10-hotfix-repository.57050/page-608#post-1650098
When using W10UI, yes, manually by dism needs the ssu extracted from the combined LCU or separately downloaded from UUP dump (available at the updates overview too). Online installation should simply be possible by running the combined LCU. With this precaution: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...2-21h1-vb_release.80763/page-333#post-1650637
goood i find out latest msmg toolikt does support integrating that https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/msmg-toolkit.50572/page-939#post-1649679 that's great
that works only if September 2020 SSU or later is already installed https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1645568/
msu files are only for end users installing manually. They contain the actual update in a user friendly format. cab files are not directly meant to be used by non-technical users because they require more advanced knowledge.
They are in the final stages. Today we have 19043.867 released as Insider Preview esd, which makes it "official", which means something like Release Candidate in the old terminology. This Insider Preview release will more than likely get Catalog Updates under the Windows Insider Pre-Release category.
