Seeing the exact same thing on my two systems on 899. 906 errors out like this. Tried reinstalling .NET but made no difference. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It's because you ran dism /cleanup-image after installing 899. Don't know an easy fix to this yet.

Can't make this 906 patch work no matter what I try. scanhealth/restorehealth (pointing to an install.wim)/sfc. Nothing at all can make it work for me.

Just a 0x800f081f error every time.

I'm 3/4. On 4th system I had to grab 906 from UUP and install over the top.

Install 2021-03 SSU KB5000981 [19041.903.1.4] first successfully, then reboot, & then tried to install the 2021-03 CU KB5000842 [19041.906.1.13] CAB in three of my systems

The result, all failed with different error codes.

Lately, I've been seeing/experiencing such issues in Windows 10 more frequently while I never run any cleanup in any of my systems manually. Don't know what's the exact reason(s) for this kinda errors.

    yep. same here.
had to do the uup dump iso upgrade.

according to cbs logs windows update was failing due to missing cert files through manifest.

after the iso upgrade it fixed it self.
