Updated the 20H1/2 / 21H1 Updates Overview (1904x.1023): https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...-2-21h1-vb_release.80763/page-16#post-1571109
Downloaded this ISO - en_windows_10_business_editions_version_21h1_x64_dvd_ec5a76c1 - Thanks for the multiple/alternate links you guys have provided. I am not sure which edition to choose between Education and Enterprise ? Is there any chart which is up to date which explains the difference between these 2 editions ? Google search didn't help much unfortunately.
I think some of the default settings are more "conservative" with Education to count for enhanced privacy. It can all be configured the same in Enterprise either in GUI or Group Policies but it is not default as far as I remember. I don't have a reference at the moment but it would be interesting to see the 2 editions compared side by side in regards to default configuration of what is more suitable for an educational environment and what is more suitable for a business environment from a Microsoft perspective. Only for reference and possible ideas of hardening Windows 10 for privacy in a supported manner without third-party software.
There is another version Education Pro which is closer to Pro than Enterprise, but the proper one to which @Enthousiast makes reference is Enterprise like.
Choose Enterprise if you can as this is considered the "full" version. Education is only a customisation for a specific purpose.
Education has less features than Enterprise, although unless you are an enterprise/big company those features are completely useless Eg: NVDIMM support RDMA creation of ReFS Support for 6TB (!) RAM
