I satd nothing about "Sun Valley" & 19044 is not useless to me. 19043.1052 now has 900 21H2 Files in it. I am curious what these Files do when activated ?
Thanks, but how do I get rid of them? EDIT: I think it is from Microsoft, the Mapping_Package_for_KB3089226_af-ZA_amd64~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~10.0.10240.0 appears on a server 2022 upgraded in place from 2019 as well. Nothing more to be done here I think. EDIT2: I didn't mention before, but ApplicabilityState and CurrentState are both 0, so they don't interfere, it is only cosmetic annoyance.
I would have fixed Win7 WU i it's possible to manipulate metadata manipulating ApplicabilityEvaluationCache is easy but the key get deleted with each servicing operation, and recreated with WU scan (or dism AnalyzeComponentStore)
The old af-ZA related package is weird because I don't use any of the South African packages, but I install Language Features for en-US, en-GB, en-AU while using only the en-US Language Pack. Windows 7 is likely neglected by now and to some extent more complicated, Windows 10 should receive more attention I would think? It is likely one of the issues well known by some people in Microsoft, but they are not tasked to resolve it so they don't "rock the boat" which it typical in large organisations.

@abbodi1406 This's to inform you that, the blank EDGE folder trick to block EDGE installed via the LCU is not working anymore, the EDGe get installed in my system where I installed the OS from an ISO without having any (new or legacy) edge in it. Quite obvious & inhabitable although that MSFT would fix that exploit sooner or later.
Can KB5003637 (1052) upgrade 19044.1023 to 19044.1052 ? Or do you have to start with 19043.1023 upgrade to 19043.1052 then add the above ?
There is no upgrade done, it's just updating, the dism commands just cosmetically change the registry keys to show the 4.
On my Asus T100TA laptablet (ancient) i did get if offered the other week, on my as ancient self build desktop it doesn't get offered, yet.
Hello everyone, I have two questions about Windows 10 home and Pro versions. 1. Win10 Home is converted into a Pro version merely by entering a suitable key. It seems that Win10 Home is actually Win10 Home + unlocked Pro/Enterprise features and a suitable Pro/enterprise key unlocks all those features. is it so or there is a lot more than this? 2. Does Win10 home seem to run lighter than Win10 Pro? or there is no noticeable difference on system resources?
Home can be online upgraded to all other consumer/business SKUs by entering the appropriate key (offline by dism set-edition), the packages will be installed to that SKU. No SKU runs lighter than any other, just administrative options and some features will be the difference.
Windows Update didn't offer an update for my 19044.1023 system; I dowloaded KB5003637 from catalog.update.microsoft.com and applyied it. Now my system is 19044.1052.
