@Enthousiast do you recommend installing 21H1 iso and doing all the updates to 21H2?

 

The difference between 21H1 and 21H2 is just a simple 30kb update. You can use whatever version you want. If possible, use the latest december 21H2 iso.

 

Also End of Support is extended with 21H2

Asking this again a month later because still no 21h2 update. Can these feature updates be blocked somehow by registry and/or group policy? Can I check if I have disabled them?

 

How is that determined though?

Is that safe, not side effects on the Windows installation? Haven't done it before

I've been trying to update my fresh install of 20h2 (19042.631) with the latest CU for 20h2 (2021-12) but it keeps throwing error 0x800f0988

I've tried solutions in https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...21h1-2-vb_release.80763/page-445#post-1709879 but I'm really new to this and I'm not sure how to exactly do it.

Any help is greatly appreciated
