Well... considering you could go from xxxx.1 to xxxx.latest with one CU... I think one can easily figure out how much a CU contains.
The latest CU for 14393 (AMD64) is 1551,2 MB, which translates roughly to 4.5 / 5 GB when uncompressed.
@acer-5100 nah, the question was more like "how many previous updates does a CU include". Hence why the .1 to .latest explanation.
Well, if "cumulative" means something... But speaking of the size is terrifying to think that the whole WIN95 OS installation was 35MB....
Are there any sums for those "old" isos of 19044.1288, i.e. the ones that were released when 21h2 became available last year? ---edit Nvm, found them.
i am downloading 22h2 iso via UUP , using the above script , just want to confirm that is this iso bootable via usb ? i mean it will be a fresh clean install enabled iso ? in case i need to reinstall windows 10 , i can make a bootable usb via rufus using it.
ehhh...Just to be sure , the "19045" named "insiderpreview" isn't the official one...am I right ?? Because all other are "official" in this thread (41-44)
guys, i have an issue in windows 10 21/22.H2 , when i am running a linux ubuntu VM in it and in a hurry when i have to leave laptop , i turn the lid off , so that it will go to sleep , but whenever i open the lid again , the laptop is off and i have to switch it on , it has crashed ! i saw the core dump and fltmgr.sys driver was identified , any clue to solve this issue ?
I apologize in advance if this has been answered before. I couldn't find an answer browsing through the forum. I installed Windows 10 Enterprise 22H2 (OS 19045.1889) from the ESD repository (after converting it to an ISO and creating a bootable media). Is this technically a release preview and not a stable release? Since I checked the Insider Preview option and it said I wasn't enrolled so I got a bit confused. And if it is indeed an Insiders preview, will it "turn" into a stable release once it releases since I'm not in the Insider Program? I asked because since I'm stupid I like to install my feature updates cleanly and since I am also impatient I can't wait a few weeks for 22H2 to release. Thanks in advance for your help and patience.
Does it change anything if it's from one channel or another, especially if you are just playing with the OS, and not doing anything of critical?
Only my curiosity and some irrational fixations with ways of doing things. Nothing of utmost importance, just wanted to know.
So does that means that it's an official release? I thought official releases were yet to be released later this month. My mind is just seeking for the placebo effect of having a "clean and fresh official 22H2 installation so it doesn't has to do it anew once it releases". In any case, apologies for being so obtuse and once again thanks a million for the patience and the help.
Yes, it's stable until they announce or add/activate actual 19045 features, you essentially have 19044
