I'm not saying one is better than the other. I just saw it as another option, since adguard's Techbench website was a good place to download Windows installation media. "List of files by Microsoft®" is the new project to that.

P.S. I just found that the said website is already listed here thus making my question kind of invalid.

If anyone could tell me: why on the 3rd week I'm usually offered a CU Preview for .NET (KB5041355 currently) as a regular/pending WU download under W10 Pro, instead of it being only optional like the Cumulative Update Preview that's out at the same time. Thanks

KB5040525 fails (Error: 0x800f0823) to install, apparently due to the missing pre-requisite.

"If your image does not have the July 25, 2023 KB5028244 or later LCU, you must install the special standalone Oct 13, 2023 SSU KB5031539 before installing this update."

Just select the file you need

 

KB5032906 does not apply to 2021 LTSC (19044.1288) either?
DISM cannot install it and extracting it to the \sources folder breaks the installer.
