I find it interesting that the ESU files refer to years 1 through 6. I'm wondering if that means ESU will actually be for 6 years instead of 3. It would be possible since LTSC IoT is already being updated till 2032. 6 years would mean ESU ends in October 2031.
this is language pack for .net framework 4.8.1, the language is nl (nl-nl) all available lang packs are in this post https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1571109
So, that's what it looked like to me, but why would @Enthousiast single out the Dutch language pack specifically in this update list? Accident? And if you search Google on the KB you get five hits, two of which are MDL, and none of them seem to directly relate to re-basing a Windows 10 install ISO.
why it should be ISO specific? you can install this kb online as well, it's just LP for ndp481 you don't really need it, all error messages would be in english without it
I run my W10UI tests with my native language files, because that way i can test the ndp481 nl_NL LP integration too and i can use the ISO for my nl-NL AiO Releases. I also could have used the de-DE or fr-FR LP or any other language available, they all are in the 1904x Updates Overview. ps, i already knew the overview in the overview would confuse people the minute i put it in there, i now simplified it some more.
Or a "Win 11 Lite" with lots of ads or something but without TPM and Secure boot (and full of ads to sell computers) Current MS is worst than 90's and 00's MS
I can't remember seeing an add in windows except once many years ago for onedrive, and i am not even sure about it being an add or nag to use it.
I remember seeing a nag saying "A new journey with Windows" stating that Windows 10 will be unsupported and suggesting buying a new PC as the only solution. I don't know it is still here, but I can't predict the future and the things MS can do the next year
Download for 22H2 (not updated!) consumer + business x64 x+86 en-us? Can't find from the start post...
So, I was able to "upgrade" a Win 10 Enterprise 22H2 19045.4957 to Win 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 19045.4957 using a combination of: Code: en-us_windows_10_iot_enterprise_ltsc_2021_x64_dvd_257ad90f.iso Updates: defender-dism-x64_steven4554_Sept_20_2024.cab windows10.0-kb5007401-x64_Critical_DU_for_NET35.cab windows10.0-kb5011048-x64_NDP481_Base_9166.1.cab windows10.0-kb5032906-x64_DU_Sources_3685.cab windows10.0-kb5034232-x64_DU_SafeOS_3920.1.2.cab Windows10.0-KB5042097-x64-NDP481_CU_9266.2.cab windows10.0-kb5043131-x64_LCU_4957.1.12.msu Win10UI v10.45r Upgrade Enabler Tool v2.1_b3 My first attempt failed somewhere during the install, past 89%. It rebooted and rolled backed the changes (while I wasn't in the room) and gave this message: Code: We couldn't install Windows 10 We've set your PC back to the way it was right before you started installing Windows 10. 0x80070570-0x2000D The installation failed in the SAFE_OS phase with an error during MIGRATE_DATA operation. No idea why. No RAID drivers, or anything storage related that's not OS native. I decided to give it another try before removing devices to simply the system and it decided to complete successfully. Seems to be fine. Time will tell as my son uses it. Next I'll try my desktop, which is a bit more complicated as it has an LSI RAID controller in it and is using AMD chipset RAID. Thank you for everyone's help!
