I did not try it, as I wanted to achieve this by simple integration into offline installs that did not depend on external tools that I would need to use separately after Windows is installed. NTLite simply allowed me to integrate the reg file directly before building the ISO. Edit: after much testing, I have considerably slimmed down the previous registry import and have documented the Windows Update behavior for blocking KB5001716. Apparently, Windows 10 update project has been handed over to the Burger King interns, hardly an update these days that doesnt mess up something else.
I think we should keep a foot or two back on LCU & rest is fine. For now, Dec 18 2025 Out Of Band seems fine & stable (at least as M$ tells). Learned here only. Thanks.
Hey guys, my old laptop finally died on me after 9 years so I picked up a new barebones notebook to save some bucks. Got my old Win10 license (pretty sure it's retail but might be OEM from the dead unit) and need to get this running today with zero AI/Cortana garbage. Thinking about going Enterprise LTSC or IoT Enterprise to avoid all that bloat but not sure if I can activate with my existing key or if I should just go HWID/KMS route. Also what's the best tool these days for building a clean updated ISO without the MCT bloatware? Pro with a debloat script or just bite the bullet on LTSC? Need this ASAP for work, any quick advice appreciated.
Dl 10 LTSC 2021 and activate it with MAS. You will find it here. End of support is on 2032 and no bloats inside
