Hi, I need help sourcing retired SSU cab files for offline WinSxS component store repair on Windows 10 22H2 (19045.7184). The tampered WinSxS folders contain incorrect files for these SSU versions: 1310, 1371, 1490, 1525, 1613, 1677, 2180, 2300, 2664, 2780, 3025, 3205, 3266, 3385, 3634, 3684, 3745, 3989, 4163, 4289, 4351, 4467, 4585, 4769, 4892, 4950, 5071, 5363, 5676, 5853, 5911, 6088, 6151, 6271. I need the SSU-19041.XXXX-x64.cab and x86.cab files. The Microsoft Update Catalog retired these on March 31, 2026. Does anyone have these archived? @abbodi1406
Thank you so much for your help — I successfully downloaded SSU-19041.1310 and SSU-19041.1371 using your method. However, I'm struggling to find the correct LCU build numbers for the remaining SSU versions. When I search UUP Dump for the build numbers I expect, I keep getting "No items found." Would you be able to provide the getfile.php URLs for these remaining versions (x64 and x86)? 1490, 1525, 1613, 1677, 2180, 2300, 2664, 2780, 3025, 3205, 3266, 3385, 3634, 3684, 3745, 3989, 4163, 4289, 4351, 4467, 4585, 4769, 4892, 4950, 5071, 5363, 5676, 5853, 5911, 6088, 6151, 6271 Really appreciate your help!
Search google first for the SSU version, which should leads you to the KB article of the associated cumulative update(s) version then you search uupdump for LCU versions
Thank you again for your guidance. I followed your methodology — searching Google for each SSU version to find the associated KB article, then searching UUP Dump for the LCU build number. This worked for SSU 1310 (LCU 19041.1348) and SSU 1371 (LCU 19041.1415), which I found by browsing UUP Dump's known builds and downloading via getfile.php. Both applied successfully. However beyond 19041.1415, UUP Dump has no feature updates and no actual cumulative updates for 19041 — only KB4023057 compatibility update entries, which return "Selected update does not contain a Cumulative Update" on findfiles.php. I also checked the OSDSUS catalog, Windows Update CDN direct URLs, and the Microsoft Update Catalog (retired March 31 2026), all without success. Is there another source I'm missing for these remaining versions (x64 and x86)? 1490, 1525, 1613, 1677, 2180, 2300, 2664, 2780, 3025, 3205, 3266, 3385, 3634, 3684, 3745, 3989, 4163, 4289, 4351, 4467, 4585, 4769, 4892, 4950, 5071, 5363, 5676, 5853, 5911, 6088, 6151, 6271
Why don't you set up a VMware machine, install the build and updates, and download a build as an install.wim file? Sysprep
Cumulative update set misses a few update KBs typically used to update the ISO supplemental files (like the Setup files themselves, BOOT.WIM and WinRE.WIM), for example Setup DU and SafeOS. For a completely updated ISO, use the Feature update set, which includes them, although using Cumulative update usually does not cause any problems.
Did you enable ESU detection for WU? either activated esu license, or registry value Win10CommercialW365ESUEligible
