@Carlos Detweiller, The same could be said for the option to create a local account without pulling the cable. Come on Microsoft, operating systems and service-based software are two different things.
So they fixed the "bug"? T'was just a test how far they could go. Expect that "bug" to reappear from time to time.
It wasn't really a bug, from msft's pov They probably want their private users to use an online account for different reasons and on 1709...> 1909 they tried to enforce it, on 19041 they now offer the "offline account" option at oobe.
uaspstor.sys is still broken on latest 19041.172, (device cannot start Code 10, not enough quota) This bug has been reported long time ago and it was only fixed in the Insider Fast ring builds (It works fine in build 19592), but it was never fixed in build 19041. How difficult is for MS to propagate the fix to the slow ring ? They are getting really lazy on this bug.
Users who want stability, should be able to do so. Users who always want the latest and (maybe) greatest, should be able to do so. The hint here is: choice. MS should do like Linux. Stability preferred? Run an LTS release. Turnaround time ~3 years (10 years is too much for consumer builds). vs. Like to live on the bleeding edge? Run the SAC builds. Turnaround time ~180 days. Every ~3 years, a build is picked for LTS. Longterm support for businesses only: Enterprise LTSC.
I'm sorry. Didn't recognizeds your post till now. I expressed misleadingly myself. The installation give no errors but the Program won't start. It just show the loading screen. Oh and yes, tried it in admin mode .
= 1909 = released approx. Oct. 16. 2019 (first and only 1909 techbench/MVS released ISO). A fake release, originated from 1903 + 1909 EP + SSU/CU, which was officially released Late April. 2019 (called MAY update). So, in theory, they still have plenty of time to release 20H1.
