cleanup-image /resetbase may not work but notepad works on my system with build 19041.207 "windows update cleanup" still does not work correctly - it still reported the previous value even after running that part in either Storage (from Windows Settings app) or from Disk Cleanup (cleanmgr.exe) - this old bug is still un-fixed even with .207
AllowSearchToUseLocation wasn't set, so I implemented that and all other settings mentioned recently, but STILL getting web results. My install must be bugged somehow...
I was only thinking the other day that if they're still working on the new December/June cycle for finalising builds then they'll need the Slow Ring soon for the next release.
Why not link to the actual post? https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...pc-slow-vb_release.80763/page-74#post-1588401
isn't RP stage Relase Preview as news says? and what's the difference bewten Release Preview and Realease to Manufactures? tnx
Honestly I also still have this Code: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Windows Search] "AllowCortana"=dword:00000000 So if Cortana is not a concern then add that key as well if you wish. Let us know.
Yeah, tried that earlier in my attempts. I got like like 5-6 of the most common settings suggested implemented now, but still getting web results in Windows Search.
I prepared a standards-compliant, homebrew 207 for testing a rollout, but it's worth waiting a couple of days for the "official" 207 ISO.
