Let's assume that the public release version number is 19041.xxx Can I just download the 19041.1 iso from December 2019 and install 19041.xxx SSU & CU afterwards??
@Aufar Ramadhan Yes, you can. You can also keep the .1 iso as baseline and integrate whichever .xxx SSU/CU/etc. you want to make your own up-to-date iso to use for clean install.
What is the exact version (19041.xxx) of the iso files that I am able to download from win insider website? If they are not 19041.1, then where should I get 19041.1 genuine iso file? Thanks
rather than downloading an IP ring ISO, better d'load the 19041.1 base ISO from UUPDump & apply the updates (CU+SSU+DotNet+Adobe FLASH) after installation or pre-integrated with that base ISO.
Insider Preview ISO version from Insider site is 19041.84 I checked the contents of one of the v2004 insider preview ISO downloads myself, Aufar but in the long run, I rather do what SM03 said and creating one from uup dump
With 19041, I don't see a difference whether you start with .1 or .84 Build 18362 was different in that .1 had some problems, and even in that scenario it was the .1 release that was "bad"
Thank you so much! I just started doing these things as I am currently collecting things up for offline use, but I didn't know which way to go.
There was nothing wrong with 18362.1, it was 17763.1 which had a major bug. If you create an uptodate ISO (atm 19041.207) yourself it will be fixed anyway. But W10UI is capable of using 19041.1 or 19041.84 or whatever new ISO will be released, for source iso.
