[DISCUSSION] Windows 10 Final Build 19041/2/3 (PC) [20H1/2 / 21H1 vb_release]

    My OS build is 19042.985.

    How do I upgrade it to version 21/H1? (Am I right to say that 21/H1 is no longer in the Preview Channel but will be made available to end-users like me?)

    Version 21/H1 is no longer in the Insiders' Preview channel, yes? I only wish to upgrade to 21/H1 if it is or will be retail soon.

    so who ever had Windows10_InsiderPreview_Client_x64_en-us_19043_928.iso on fresh install had RTM all along... LOL

    that's because because 21H2 will extend the period even more, you are comparing H1 with H2 and that is wrong.

    I sense that some of us are new here...

    If you already have 2004 (19041.985) or 20H2 (19042.985) installed on your computer, the 21H1 features are already embedded in Windows. In order to enable those features, you merely need to download the appropriate .MSU and double click on it to enable the embedded features. Some users will be offered the enablement package through Windows Update.
