[DISCUSSION] Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 10525

I did a clean install of Windows 10 10525, and it won't activate.

I was fully activated right through all the insider previews, and with RTM build 10240. This is the key that end with -3V66T. I can't change it to the new key, and the new key doesn't work in setup. Any ideas? Anyone else have the same issue?

 

MS probably don't allow clean installs for 10525. You'll probably have to install 10240 (skip entering a key) then do an in place upgrade to 10525.

It's probably because of the pre-RTM insider key :S. I'll reinstall Windows 10 RTM, use the current product key, make sure it is activated, then try again and see if it works.

I knew from the beginning that windows 10 does memory management a little differently
I sometimes saw system process with over 2 gigs of memory usage.

 

Nope. Just did a normal install of Windows 10 RTM (skipped key), changed to Microsoft Account, and still says the key has been blocked. I guess my insider status is now no more .

 

That's weird....why would they block clean installed Insiders and not people upgrading via Daz's loader lol


I read somewhere that you can still install 10130 and upgrade to RTM from that. The Insider key should still activate there (not the Pro RTM key but prerelease key). So activate there then upgrade via WU or ISO.

 

Don't like water marks, i think i will stick to my n lstb version

 

Lolz mee too you could get rid of it but also gonna stick to RTM don't like time bombs neither

 

VirtualBox is dead in the water with this build. Will not run.

I hope this isn't a long-term issue.

Still no update for me
I signed in back to my M$ account, validated it, restored telemetry using Toggle Tweaker and have Fast Ring on but no luck...
