Check if keys for both builds matched? e.g. 10240 with A key > 10547 with A key = activated 10240 with A key > 10547 with B key = inactivated
if you have activation issues but 10240 is activated just use microsoft toolkit to back up that activation and restore it on build 10547 works 100%
There are two places in the registry that contain a HWID number, have both been changed to see if this deactivates system ?. Has anyone tried to take the ticket and the entire ClipSVC folder and put it on a offline system to see if she get act ?, and the three place that contain tokens.
With the ticket alone? Yes, activated ONLINE only. The ticket and the entire ClipSVC folder? No. The ticket is in the ClipSVC folder already.
I was wondering if the token in the Clip folder, ticket,( which would be the full clip folder ) and the two other tokens from system32 and services, would give a offline activation.
Bought the key = No KMS. Got it. I am downloading 2.6 BETA 1. Right? (Never mind. I will test it myself for my Enterprise LTSB, and feedback. Thanks.) Edit: It asks for key ends in WGF99. But my Enterprise LTSB Volume:MAK ends in M98WY. (Never mind. I will input my own key, and install on another partition to see if it worked.) Edit: No, it would not accept my key, and nothing backuped. Thanks, WardocsRevenge and odiebugs1. Good night
Win10 (non-generic) activates via SPP - so the usual tokens may still work. The upgrade from Win7/8 uses ClipSVC and store licence tokens - it's completely different. Both services check the hash of the restored tokens and overwrites them if it sees it 'as corrupt'. Have not had time to look further into this - may become more important at the end of the free period.
