From my observation, the malfunction is not caused by any UXTheme patcher, but by theme itself which is not compatible with new build anymore. Many visual controls have been remapped to different values and thus the theme is invalid and cannot be used.

The Insiders is *only* for people who want to install advance, beta builds. The general public's updates come through Windows Update exclusively, just as you mention above. Yes, if you don't want to install Insider builds you should by all means get out... I don't know why, but you aren't the first I've spoken with who has thought that the Insiders was some sort of standard update mechanism for Windows.... It never has been. (One very pleasant addition I've made is the addition of an SSD...I boot from it, and from the time I hit the reboot button on a fast-channel upgrade it takes ~20 minutes, give or take 2 minutes. It takes not even ten seconds to boot to a usable desktop. 9 out of 10 doctors recommend an SSD for stress reduction...)
piece of crap start menu screwed itself, again. Now Weather and News dont show in live Tile. I did everything, again like: sfc /scannow Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"} Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and... Nothing, again.
rebooted? ... run the following in a Command Window to re-register the Store app: powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest.xml
BTW. do I need to sign in with my Microsoft ID to install/ activate this? I used to be in the insider program, but then I dropped out. Can I install this from the ISO just like a retail version? My hardware ID is already registered. My 10240 is activated - qualifying upgrade from OEM Windows 7 Pro x64.
Rebooted, tried reinstall the store (which was unnecessary cause I didnt uninstalled in first place and from there I installed Weather and News), rebooted again, still nothing.
