well I take it back, clean install, this build won't activate with legit 7 or 8.1 keys I have, says this key cannot be used to activate this edition of windows, blah blah, still a piece of garbage imo, lol,
Mine too, garbage, no keys worked from my coa stickers, once again ... maybe servers overload ??? had to kmspico it
yup, I think there is still more to the activation than meets the eye, anyways, I am formatting later and getting rid of this oh yeah even clean install, tons of errors in event log, start menu xml crashing, settings xml crash I haven't been set this far back in productivity and ease of use since the win 95 days, LOL
That is right ! but I had my mind set up to get back in the insider program but saddly It won't let me
Not sure what files it modifies, but I wonder if this also explaisn why teh UWD watermark disabler has been apparently working but crashing my desktop -- at work now to check but it doesn't appear to be resetting anymore.
ESD files are originally encrypted (as you know) install.esd in $WINDOWS.~BT is already decrypted, thus the hash differ but the contents are still the same, so you can use either files to create iso
