Failed to Clean Install, like everyone else, on VMWare workstation through the Windows ISO mounted to "D:" DVD. The failed process partitioned the 36 GB Virtual hard disk to 500mb (System) and "C:" 35.5GB (Windows) primary partitions. (or you could create format and name partitions manually through diskpart after booting PE). Connected a 2nd Virtual DVD "E:". Mounted Windows PE to boot from and "D:" Mounted Windows 10 14251 to "E:". After booting into Windows PE, started an Administrator's CMD and executed: C:\Windows\System32>Dism /apply-image /imagefile:E:\sources\install.wim /index:1 /ApplyDir:C:\ After copying the installation files to C:\, Changed directory to C:\Windows\System32> and made C:\ the Windows bootable drive. C:\Windows\System32>bcdboot C:\Windows /l en-US unmounted both DVDs and rebooted. The installation proceeded and completed successfully.
still ISO turned out to be broken. many errors shown after the installation. you cannot deactivate or remove some components. place in the trash!
as said before make a 11102 usb and take wim from the new iso and place it in the 11102 usb source folder and boot from usb bam no issue
