wan mini port is protocol for dial up connection....They are only virtual devices - you should be able to delete.
no u need to be registered insider program.....and only run insider previews.....education is not part of it.
I havent seen these Wan Miniport entries in any of the previous builds so far.. Why did 11425 bring such entries ? Does everyone have the same wan miniport drivers like me ?
utter crap. Avoid this build at any cost. Full of bugs, starting that you have to bypass the 1st error doing a clean install. From there is all is downhill
Possibly, you installed a modem that included those dial-up protocols to your network. Go to 'Network & Internet' at your 'Settings' and uninstall it under 'Dial-up'.
Expect future Builds to be the same. Everyone screamed for more Builds faster. Well now we have the "Faster Fast Ring" . You got your wish. Gabe said to expect a lot more Bugs, even Show Stopper Bugs.
The purpose of the Insider Program is for legitimate insiders to find and report bugs and work-arounds. If you are not willing to do that then stop installing betas. Morons!
Those drivers are in any build. They're installed if you set up a VPN connection. Boo hoo. Go back to a stable build if you have a problem with that.
To remove package is one thing. There are two other things in: TaskScheduler and Registry. Try to remove Windows Defender packages since 11103 and you will see what I meant. And these builds would not allow UWF though they are pre-installed. [Hint] Capture and re-install, and they will be back.
Is there a way to avoid installing the latest build? It is downloaded and it's waiting for installing, but I do not want it. How to delete the update, and then to stop installing it? I just want to see first the comments and to decide if it's okay for me to install it, and now I'm seeing a bad comments and bad issues that I don't like and prefer to wait for the next build. Is it possible? Thanks in advanced!
My install is an update from 11102. I already had Chrome beta x64 on there and it worked without issue. In fact, updated to latest beta x64 without problem as well.
