No fix for Firefox Nightly builds in this build of Windows. Still the flash player crashes. I wonder why MS made it hard for other browsers again.
Yfw Edge is scoring better than Chrome in most usage benchmarks and is actually smoother than it. All it needs is extensions and I might as well switch.
First build in a while that doesn't have an annoying issue for me since I don't use Hyper-V, though Windows Update is still a mess and still gets on my nerve so I submitted feedback hoping they can do something about it. Especially now that we receive huge updates weekly. Take a look and up-vote if you want. Just copy paste on Edge: Code: Windows-Feedback:?contextid=158&feedbackid=c9c9e010-75f8-4cb1-8ab0-bbadfd7693eb&form=1&src=2
Not replied for a while about the recent builds, however I must note this either a change for the better or bug with how the the store is supposed to work. As I understood if you turned off defender you could not install apps. Anyhow I was busy gaming last night when this build downloaded and woke up to it. I have windows defender turned off via group policy manager and disabled services, as well as the windows firewall. I do not use any 3rd party software for this either I guess this change took place in a prior version and I just did not check. With all this turned off can now get updates through windows updates as well as install apps from the store. /edit What I am trying to say is I no longer need antivirus to get updates or install store apps. I previously had to turn them back on to do these things. /edit I also have the antimalware disabled as well.
Windows 10 goes automatically in Hibernation Mode on Laptop AFAIK! I've the same at my laptop a Acer Aspire 4752G. After start, I've to restart if I like to boot from another drive, otherwise the BIOS Boot Manager will not work/appear!
Firefox x64 DE runs fine...very stable. I recently upgraded my wife's 32-bit Firefox to Firefox x64 DE because she was getting lots of lockups with the x86 version under Win10 10586.xxx. I am running it in 14267. Nightly builds are buggy, generally, I've found. Firefox x64 DE is updated at least once per day and sometimes twice.
No problems seen at all here. Upgraded my e6400 from 14251 to 14267 without issue. Running latest Waterfox 64bit and no problems there at all. Not a bad upgrade so far...
