If you have "fast startup" on, shutting down will in fact initiate hibernation in most cases, and not a "full shutdown".

 

Edge is still the same horse$$$t as it previously was.

If a download starts, I can't even right click on the download progress bar and copy the url. I need it to paste it in my download manager sometimes to speed things up.

Till then .. NO EDGE.

 

I agree but no settings have been altered before and after the latest upgrade though. Something was changed under the hood without my knowledge/ without any notification

 

What antivirus software works with Win 10 build 14627?

My kaspersky AV program won't work with build 14627. Kaspersky says insider previews are NOT supported, even though it was working up until this build. I had to uninstall Kaspersky to get Windows Media Center working again.

Anyone have a CONFIRMED AV program that works with 14627?

I use commodo internet security suite that`s pretty good

 

You are probably using HDD. Mine boots up within six seconds on mSata SSD.

 

I am wondering where he got the time machine so he could install a build so far out in the future

 

well after doing many hours of work 3d modeling and gaming and building huge worlds in cryengine and ue4 music movies this build is great.
no shutdown issues
no slow apps opening issues
no dx12 issues
no vulkan issues
no driver issues
and all games work

Can´t install FinePrint nor pdfFactory Pro. Installer just stops.

Have you tried to install them on compatibility mode?

 

Was start menu search fixed in this build? I'm still on stable 10586. Been having this issue for a while where old uninstalled apps still show up in start menu search and it always says "these results may be incomplete" -- reluctant to upgrade to insider build after the buggy mess it was a couple of months ago
