Problem during installation of password of WiFi 14279 Hi, I can't access to Internet because during installation of Windows 10 I can see my network WiFi but when I selected it, I can't see the box where I put password, so I can not fill it Some ideas please I have download two esd files of 14279 and nothing but when I install 14271 during installation I can see to box to fill the password of my network WiFi
In that case skip that process and proceed to complete installation. Afterward enter your Wi-Fi password.
which wifi card? which mobo or laptop? I have atheros 9271 chipset on tp-link 150 usb sticky thing and works all good
Thank you but how can I enter password key when the installation is finished? Because status of network is desactivated It's laptop with Intel centrino advanced n 6205. In build 14271 no problems but in 14279 fail with box to fill
@cristianlp Could you share the x64 Pro es-es ESD please? Btw guys, i'm getting the 80240031 error on Windows Update since time ago and i'm stuck on build 14267, i've tried many things, but keeps without work. I know that i can get the ESD from %WINDOWS%/SoftwareDistribution/DeliveryOptimization, but when i try to use the ESD > ISO converter says that the ESD is ausent or damaged. I was wondering, is it possible that Windows Update keeps corrupting the ESD, then for that reason, it can't install them? Do you know any way for avoid the 80240031 error?
Are there any useful/significant features would I get from upgrading my 10586 to this build? Please correct me if I'm wrong but I can only notice that the Redstone builds focuses more on Cortana and Edge. Thanks!
Not at all. I started the installation and walked away and wife called that the PC is restarting after all finished. I logged in and used the PC to check the new stuff then it did restart on me. Watched a movie and it happened many times. Switched to the Windows 8 in the second HD and it's working fine up to writing this post so it's a Windows 10 issue!
maybe you have damaged Windows Update, try this... Code: @echo off cls net stop wuauserv > NUL 2>&1 net stop cryptSvc > NUL 2>&1 net stop bits > NUL 2>&1 net stop msiserver > NUL 2>&1 rd "C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution" /Q /S > NUL 2>&1 rd "C:\Windows\System32\catroot2" /Q /S > NUL 2>&1 net start wuauserv > NUL 2>&1 net start cryptSvc > NUL 2>&1 net start bits > NUL 2>&1 net start msiserver > NUL 2>&1 pause
You need to know one very important thing. 10586 is a released Build and does not expirer. All of the Insider Builds are Beta Builds and DO EXPIRER. If you upgrade to 14279 YOU CAN NOT KEEP IT Long term. You will have to keep upgrading to a newer Build until Redstone is released to the Public in June/July this Summer.
