When you click Download on the extension page, do you guys get a "Run" choice or an "Open" choice? The extension article shows Run, but....
Either ways worked. After the download click run or open and the file will be extracted. Next click the three dots icon(...) on Microsoft Edge and select extensions. Look for the extract files and add them. Bingo!
Unfortunately, Open leads to the "How do you want to open this file" dialog, which lists numerous programs but not Edge. Not that I would want to associate EXEs with Edge anyway. Wonder why this is different here? Is there maybe a way to install extensions from PowerShell or something?
In case anyone is wondering: Yes, it is time-bombed. The first non-time-bombed version will likely have a wildly different build number.
All three extensions installed and... so what? I've managed to load only Mouse Gestures I've got two "We couldn't load this extension"
Running full screen on MPC-BE or WMP and it causes explorer to crash and restart, tested this on a laptop fine on the main display but it crashes on another display through HDMI.
How do you get the download links? I have no issues downloading the updates, just finding the links! The command Code: Get-BitsTransfer -AllUsers | select -ExpandProperty FileList doesn't work. More precisely, it does work, but shows the same updates from a while ago and never lists the new preview updates. Of course, you can find the update task in the registry, however the remotefile key is encrypted: So, how do I go about finding the link so I can post the en-gb x64 link? Copying the .esd from the downloaded installation source to make and iso is beyond easy, it's just getting to the link to the .esd for the benefit of others.
I see now that extensions are self-extracting EXEs, so I thought I'd be clever and extract one with WinRAR and then point the "Load extension" dialog to that folder. Result: "We couldn't load this extension"
