Guess it depends on your location and service. I get it from the cloud about 11MB/s At least its the weekend, whats the rush for another s**tty build anyway? lol
Going by the build numbers available, I suspected there could be a new build, being 14295, before BUILD, but when it wasn't released Thursday I thought that might have changed. It's good that we got 14295 though, the next build will probably be after BUILD (whether it is 01 April or the following week). I guess it depends on the stability of the BUILD build, seeing as there are supposedly some changes going into that one and not just bugfixes. Currently the (assumed) BUILD build is at 14308.
Just went from Windows LTSB to Enterprise this build could keep my files and settings how sweet is that hope it is worth it !
Okay they may have fixed PC controller support but it lags out the OS when restarting it with it plugged in and in GTAV with the controller causes massive fps lag once i unplug it, it's fine again.
What is using the CPU? Remember at idle the CPU throttles down, so it may be running at say, 800 MHz instead of 4.4 GHz (for example). When you think of it, that means at 4.4 GHz it would only be 3.6 percent overall utilisation. The thing using the CPU is important to know. Firstly, it could be an antivirus scanning all the new files, it could be the NGEN background task running, it could be a task scheduled maintenance item like defrag. If you looked at task manger, then click on 'more details' so the whole thing shows, then 'details' tab, you can sort the items by CPU use by clicking on 'CPU' at the top. That way you will know exactly what is using the CPU. If it is a system issue, then reporting it through the feedback tool (assuming you're an insider) is the way to go. The whole point of the insider programme is for people to report issues and make suggestions etc. I've mentioned this before on this and other forums and in some cases people have come back with a counter-argument, but realistically any counter-argument to that statement really isn't valid. Any benefit to any user of the insider programme is just a perceived benefit, the whole point of it is to report back on the builds and make it better for non-insiders upon release of it (TH1, current official TH2, current insider RS1, future RS2 etc). If it is an issue with the system, and unless you report it, it's likely to be there until such time someone else reports it or Microsoft happens upon it. I suspect though if you just saw it using that CPU at idle and didn't give it time, it was probably just a background task of some description running, in which case it will always happen whenever you install a new build as an update.
am I the only one that gets extreme frameskipping or lag in games with this new build while xbox controller is plugged in?
