Usually comforable for random users and safe are antithetic. Such kind of users are like drivers running around w/o a driving licence, so suggestion from experienced users are more than worth, although often not heard. Absolutely I don't agree here. Aside that good AVs are often able to detect treats w/o any need of reliyng on signatures, 99.99999% of the crap catched by the random users aren't sophisticated at all. Thy just rely on the laziness of the users and on the idiotic defaults of most used browsers like Chrome or IE. That is a simple ask before download setting alone would save 3/4 of the problems.
Generally, that was very much my thought, too... Why would you visit a site you know is "malicious"...?....Crazy, man, crazy...Norton's AV/malware code is not as efficient or clean as the code and methods used in, say, Defender. It was years ago the last time I ran Norton's and the effect that I recall most was that my OS felt mired in molasses...ugh... I wish I could say something better about what Symantec has done with the original Norton's Utilities...but I can't..! The company lost me for good when it went to Brussells a few years ago and tried to say that that it was unfair of Microsoft to protect the Windows OS it was selling by including an AV/malware program--as if Symantec was supposed to have the exclusive rights to "keep Windows safe" because it "wasn't fair" to Symantec if Microsoft adopted that responsibility for its OS customers! The EUC-centered anti-trust activity in Brussels failed, laughably, and Symantec was laughed out of court, basically. All Symantec had to do, after all, was build a better AV program than Microsoft, right? Symantec's response was that it couldn't do that and therefore it was "unfair" to Symantec. Wisely, this time, the EUC came down on the side of the consumer and Symantec was sent packing... What nonsense, and how pitiful!
Exactly. How many times has the EUC come down AGAINST MS, forcing it to take things out of the OS in the "Name of the Consumer?" All this does is render an incomplete OS to said Consumer. It is my opinion that the average computer user wants an OS that just works, right out of the box without downloading or installing anything else. My sister has a hard enough time figuring out where she downloads something or if she should upgrade a Malwarebytes AntiMalware Database on her own, let alone installing browsers, audio/video players, and the like. Anything extra she needs, I have to install for her. It is no big deal, and I am sure many people have friends, and family members who are willing, but who needs it? People like stuff that works.
No is not. It's just the result of the experience on the field, more than three decades, to be more precise. Your security belt may be defective, (not so common but possible), is that a good reason to drive w/o them (or to remove them altogether from your car)? Maybe not the browser itself, but the user of such browser is very likely to click on it. Better to have an intelligent browser who ask to the user what to do, always. Having nothing to cure is always better than a good medicine, any Opera user can confirm that. But if you don't like a good browser a good medicine is better than a placebo like defender, no matter how much arguing comes from the MS fanboys. The only things that defender catches for sure are keygens and KMS emulators.
Has anyone successfully installed Microsoft Office 2016 on this build. As I clean installed this build and went to install Microsoft Office 2016 and straight away I get a error message "Office Click-to-Run installer encountered a problem because you have these Windows Installer based Office programs installed on your computer.". I haven't got any other Microsoft Office installed. I'm using 64-bit windows and office.
Connection options bug Since the Windows 10 14316 version I have a problem with my connection options. In this version (14328) I have the same bug... When I want to change my password or just consult my options, a window is opening but keeps empty... Is somebody knows this bug ? (Parameters > Accounts > Connection options)
Is that Bill Gates nickname I've done a clean install on one hard disk with the official win 10 disk\iso i.e. upgrading from Win 7, but thought all the insider builds were just upgrades only and would assume if say you had a new hard disk you wouldn't be able to install? So are you saying:- download 14328 iso and try that?
I always use DDU from Guru3d forum to remove the driver and all of the aspects completly and then install the newer driver
Will try it next time as well. Edit: Next time will be possible tomorrow, because after a re-boot it went back to how it was.
