It works on my 2nd PC, too, so after some checking i found that the setting "open file explorer to:" was set to nothing, there was just an empty bar. Changed it back to "This PC", and Win + E works again.
This time I did upgrade instead of clean install. Now I can't open Groove Music or Movie TV without crash. In fact 90% of the apps crash. Looking at Reliability History it says combase.dll is always the culprit. Should I clean install?
Yeah I also get it and I also got it on the previous Insider build, no idea what is being left open as everything that should be closed is closed as far as I can see. I did an OS upgrade, if you find out what it is let me know. Cheers.
soon, it will be more better 10.0.10586.242.th2_release.160420-1828 10.0.14331.1000.rs1_release.160421-1700
I see dolby home theater does not work on this build but it worked on the last build very very strange, tried everything to get it working so back to the old build I go
Keep in mind though that the release codepath is essentially a nightly, so most of the new builds we will never see. This will likely continue into the future once RS1 is released to the general public and we start testing RS2 (Redstone 2). Redstone 2 looks to be more of an interesting release, much bigger changes allegedly.
Well, i finally did a install clean and it fixed all my problems. Groove Music app is now an old version but it works.
Well it looks like I'm stuck on 14295 as 14316 and 14328 won't install, the good news is in both cases win 10 recovered and restored back to 14295...so that works
