You can not see "Intel® Chipset Device Software" directly in Device Manager.. Go to Device Manager-->System Devices.. Can you see any "Intel(R) SMBus Controller" there ? Does your computer have AMD or Intel Processor.. ?
My test rig chipset and CPU are Intel and, Intel related, I can only see "Intel(R) Management Engine Interface".
afaik the intel chipset driver works only by installing from executing the file, no way around it unless you already have it installed and you use some tool to extract each .inf and drivers
The Intel Chipset Device Software doesn't contain any real driver (that are files with the extension *.SYS) and the OS doesn't need any driver for the Intel Chipset Devices. As long as the Device Manager doesn't show a yellow "missing driver" flag, there is no need to install any Intel Chipset Device INF file. The only functions of these INF files are: 1. to tell the OS, that no driver is available/required and 2. to give the device a name with the word "Intel" in it.
where did you get that idea,i said my power light stays on after shutdown, someone mentioned intel,i said no i have amd.
