No French version for the Build 14361

If you have a French Windows 10 Insider Preview build installed on your PC, you will not receive Build 14361. There is an issue with the French translation process in this build that would revert a lot of text that was used to be shown in French back to English. So we have chosen not to release this build to Insiders whose base build is French. If your base build is not French and you have a French Language Pack installed – you will still be able to install the new French language pack on top of this build, but this issue will also impact you.

This build feels possessed. I hate the start menu lag.
Going back to previous build (14352). It was blazing fast.

 

Nice thing about Win10 is that you can use whatever GUI you prefer...a desktop GUI is just as much a "Win10 GUI" as a full-screen start menu with tiles can be a "Win10 GUI." Either one is a Win10 GUI.

 

What graphics are you using and how much mem/cpu?

I get it as well. just curious.

 

The startmenu has lag here too (i7 3770 (onboard GPU) and 16GB 1333MHz ram)

It's an AMD Radeon R9 290 (non-X model) with 4GB
CPU is i7 4790K with 16GB RAM (2x8GB) on Asus Z97-Pro.
Windows is installed on M.2 SSD Disk (LiteOn 128GB)

Start menu doesn't have any lag for me. Still comes up in same amount of time as other builds

 

either you messed up on the install or your SSD/HDD are broken or worse yet your drivers are scewing up but this build is the best build released yet for rs1 being the RTM escrow and all so try and fix something before blaming the build
