Win +R --> winver.exe Usually MS had the in place upgrade blocked if going from a preview to the RTM, but lately that was changed. It should be possible w/o any problem Anyway, the development wouldn't stop on 29/7, so you will have new test previews possibly even before the official anniversary release.
Over the course of time, some Insiders have wanted to roll back to their original OS and no longer receive Windows Insider builds to a particular PC or mobile device. To assist users in this effort, the following guide should be helpful: Roll back to Original OS, what if he has none If you’re a Windows Insider and have been running Windows 10 Insider Preview builds, you’ll automatically receive new builds that have been activated, so long as Windows was activated on your device before upgrading to the new build. If he has old Win 7. 8, 8.1 key, he's cool, or he had Windows 10 activated on that computer before he's cool, if none of the above apply, stay a insider or bend over. I will say I think the Insider's deserve a free copy with no strings.
I think I will stay on the anniversary build when is release, and keep just one comp for insider testing, upgrading 3 machines every 2 weeks or so is getting a bit tired.
At least my APPL products are seeing consistent beta updates....glad at least one program can handle a fairly consistent cadence.
Yes, sure, and "PC build news-> soon." EDIT: It's 7:55PM in Seattle, any chance? I don't think so, maybe I'm wrong, I hope so
A couple builds back, the Insider blog mentioned what you see on the left. Reality is what you see on the right. Does anyone else see these pointless notifications for Defender?
